Voices of Hope, Kingston Women’s Hub and RBK are currently working on a groundbreaking project which aims at storytelling through writing, photography and film for women who have been through abuse of various kinds. We want to champion survivors of abuse within our community, bring into focus the challenges they face during and after abuse, together with the inspiring stories of survival, restoration and triumph which will undoubtedly be a voice of hope and inspiration to other women in our community.

This will culminate in a live event in Kingston in November leading into the 10 days of Activism for violence against women and girls. The Mayor of Kingston has already agreed to start a new award called a Pearl Award in recognition of those who tell their stories.

If you would like to register interest in telling your story, or someone you know would like to tell theirs, please complete this very brief form and we will be in touch to chat further!
