I see my role as trying to support the charity in any way I can. I am as happy volunteering as encouraging friends to contribute, but I am particularly happy when acting as a sounding board to staff and volunteers.

I am fortunate to have had a long and varied career in business and I look to use the skills and resources I have to make sure that Voices of Hope is successful and sustainable in the long term.

Voice of Hope has had an impact on so many people in the borough, and I am so happy that I am able to support this organisation as I have seen and heard from so many people who have benefited from the help given by Voices of Hope.

They have been able to bring about the good in so many people and have touched them with their love and the activities they do. Whether they are the young, the vulnerable, the elderly, they have made a great impact on those they come and meet.

Karen is our independent advocate who works supporting women who need help with accessing services or rights they are entitled to, and admin needs. She works at Kingston and also at our Elmbridge Women’s hub.
