Women’s Hubs and Support

Why we do what we do

At Voices of Hope, we believe that every woman deserves to feel safe, valued, and empowered. Many women in our community face challenges such as isolation, trauma, and barriers to accessing support. Our women’s hubs and projects create spaces where women can belong, heal, and thrive together.

Our Impact

Through our hubs and projects, hundreds of women each year find encouragement, build resilience, and access the support they need.

%

Women have told us that our sessions reduced their feelings of isolation, increased their confidence, and gave them new friendships.

Survivors of trauma have shared how advocacy and emotional support gave them hope for the future.

Wellbeing sessions and creative activities help women rediscover joy, purpose, and community.

Women’s Hubs and Support

1-1 Emotional Support & Advocacy

Sometimes we all need someone to listen. Our team provides confidential one-to-one support, advocacy, and signposting for women who are navigating difficult circumstances. Whether you’re facing practical challenges or emotional struggles, our friendly and non-judgemental staff are here to stand alongside you.

Wellbeing Community Support

We know that wellbeing is about the whole person — mind, body, and health. That’s why our hubs offer opportunities to relax, connect, and grow. Women can enjoy massages, manicures, creative arts, Pilates, dance, and mindfulness activities, as well as free, healthy meals and refreshments. Just as importantly, our hubs provide the chance to meet other women, build supportive friendships, and discover a strong sense of community.

Survivor Empowerment

At Voices of Hope, we believe that survivors’ voices must be heard. We create safe and supportive spaces where women can connect, share their experiences, and shape change. This includes the Survivors Forum in Kingston, which ensures survivors influence how local services are designed and delivered; empowerment courses like the “I Am” programme, helping women explore healthy relationships, self-image, and resilience; and advocacy and support, so that no woman is left to face her journey of healing and justice alone. 👉 If you’d like to learn more or get involved, please contact us.

How and where we work

Our hubs run across Kingston, Richmond, and Elmbridge, offering a warm and welcoming space for women of all ages and backgrounds. Each hub provides a rich mix of opportunities, from the Sisterhood Choir, where women can enjoy singing, friendship, and fun, to the Sisterhood Sanctuary, which offers wellbeing sessions, pampering, creativity, and shared meals. Women can also access 1-1 advocacy and emotional support, receiving confidential guidance and encouragement from our friendly team. Alongside this, our hubs provide community support such as free childcare at selected sessions, drop-in cafés, and wellbeing courses. We also run empowerment projects, including “I Am” courses and the Survivors Forum, ensuring that women’s voices are heard and shape the future
