KGS First Year Fundraiser for Brite Box

Kingston Grammar School is proud to support BRITE Box — to help families cook up healthy, delicious meals on a budget, together!

BRITE Box especially supports those identified by schools and youth groups as being at risk of food insecurity — but it’s about more than just meals. It’s about bringing families together, building kitchen confidence, and sparking a lifelong love for cooking.

We are planning a series of small group cooking workshops which will enable students to collaborate with friends to produce a delicious meal or snack using BRITE Box recipes. The aim is to have fun, home cooking skills and start to understand how to cook food from scratch on a budget. Crucially, students will also better understand BRITE Box’s work in Kingston.

Each participating student* will be asked to make a minimum donation of £6. This will cover the cost of each group’s BRITE Box and will fund an additional BRITE Box for a local family. Students and their families and friends are welcome to donate more than this – each box costs BRITE Box  £12.

Thank you for supporting us to support BRITE Box!
