Join the Race: Kingston Dragon Boat Festival 2026
We are thrilled to announce that we are taking to the water for the Kingston Dragon Boat Festival on Sunday 19th July 2026. This spectacular community event, held at the beautiful Canbury Gardens, brings local causes and supporters together for a day of high-energy racing and fundraising.
Our team, ‘The Oar-Some Voices‘, powered by staff & volunteers, will be paddling hard in a traditional dragon boat, and we’d love your support! The event is all about raising money for great causes, and we’re aiming to make a real difference—so any sponsorship, big or small, would mean a lot to us. We have set ourselves an ambitious fundraising target of £10,000 to help us make a real difference!
How you can help
Whether you’re up for joining our boat and being part of the ‘Oar-Some Voices’ Team, coming down on the day to cheer us on, or sponsoring us, your support helps families in need through initiatives like BRITE Box meal kits, Sisterhood Choirs and minority community outreach. Your donation will help us support even more women and children to journey from at risk to thriving!
The action kicks off with the first race at 10:00 am, and we will be stationed at our team gazebo throughout the day. Come find us and help us paddle toward our fundraising target!
