"We started 20 September 2022 with only 3 people, myself and 2 others. Now we have 40 members, so this success speaks for itself! The choir is the highlight of my week because, as a busy person, I make sure that singing is my priority. Personally, I would definitely recommend singing for all, as it is extremely beneficial to any age group. It has been proven to help with both physical and mental health, plus it is great for anyone suffering from anxiety or depression and even loneliness. Now, I have 39 new friends, so the choir is a good confidence builder. If we cannot get a new tune correct first time, we just laugh and try again. We are learning all the time and improving, so progress has been fantastic. There is no pressure at all, so this is excellent for everyone. Singing is definitely good for the soul! None of this would be possible, of course, without Voices of Hope, so a huge thank you goes to them from all members. I feel extremely blessed to have Heni as choir leader, as she is a very special lady. We are all grateful for her patience, inspiration, dedication, encouragement, expertise and belief in us all. We are very fortunate, so a massive thank you must go to Heni for this great achievement."
