Childcare Request Form

This form is to request childcare for families accessing the Kingston Women’s Hub on Mondays (9:30am-2:30pm) and Tuesdays (11am-2:30pm).

The Childcare Team will seek to confirm if there is availability for the requested childcare as soon as possible (usually within 72 hours) through the provided contact details. Requests for childcare made with less than 48 hours may not be able to be confirmed. Please ensure that the person you are referring for childcare is aware and has consented for you to share their details with us.

Please note:

  • We do not currently provide food in childcare. Parents are responsible for providing food that our childcare team can feed them during childcare.
  • We have limited places in childcare. Pre-booking is advisable. It is at the discretion of the childcare team if they can offer a place for a child on any given day/time.
  • Childcare cannot receive children who have been sick (vomiting and/or diarrhoea or communicable infections) in the last 48 hours. Thank you for your understanding.
In the next section, you will be answering for the parent / carer. We expect any requirements to be explained to the family and acknowledged.

Parent/carer Information

This section includes the details of the parent and child/children for whom childcare is requested.
The childcare team will use this to confirm availability with the parent, or check any details regarding a request. It will not be shared externally and will not be used for any other purpose than for the communicating the work of the Kingston Women's Hub.
(Please note that we do not provide regular childcare for children of school age i.e. 5 years + but a one off arrangement can be discussed with staff. Please mail karen.reekie@gray-wolf-350276.hostingersite.com prior to booking a child of this age)

If childcare is over a meal/snack time, the parent must provide the child's food. Our childcare does not provide food, but will feed children food given by their parents.

Parents/guardians of children in childcare must remain in the building at all times and must be accessing services at the Women’s Hub.

Childcare is not available for parents/guardians to leave the building or external to Women’s Hub services.

As per nursery and childcare rules, children are not able to attend childcare if they have been unwell with stomach bug symptoms (eg. vomiting or diarrhoea) within 48 hours or a temperature within 24 hours. Or if they have chickenpox, Strep A infections, or Conjunctivitis.
