VoH Celebration Gala
On Friday 29th September we hosted the first of our annual Voices of Hope celebration Gala’s. Thanks to the amazing work and dedication of those who supported the event through volunteering, donating and attending, the Gala was a huge success!
We began the evening with the opportunity to view each of our project areas in interactive stalls, with food tasting and cooking demonstrations from the BRITE Box team, amazing exhibitions from our partnerships with Kingston University and Robyn Harper Photography demonstrating the work of the Kingston Women’s Hub, and an incredible performance from members of the Voices of Hope Choir and demonstrations by our Active Breathing Course tutors providing an insight to our Creative Arts projects.
Talks from some of our amazing partners, including Her Worshipful the Mayor of Kingston, Councillor Diane White, The Bentall Centre’s deputy manager Marcus March and Hilda Mulrooney, a professor of nutrition from Kingston University supporting the work of BRITE Box, as well as a delicious meal and fantastic raffle saw the evening wrapped up.
Thank you again to all those who gave their time and donations to the Gala, the event would not have been possible without you and we are SO thankful!
