Unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide childcare at Kingston Women’s Hub. These changes will come into effect from 1 April.
Mothers attending the One Stop Shop are welcome to bring their children. For all other sessions, we kindly ask that children do not attend, with the exception of non-walking babies, who may attend as long as they remain with their mother.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and greatly appreciate your understanding.
What we do
We are proud to champion the restoration and empowerment of women through running women’s community projects, peer mentoring, strategy forums and employment support / opportunities.
We founded Kingston Women’s Hub in 2021; a partnership of organisations providing holistic support to enable women to thrive after experiencing domestic violence, the criminal justice system, abuse, or multiple disadvantages. We are located at Voices of Hope, 161A Clarence St, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1QT.
If you would like to learn more about our services or to become a partner in the KW Hub please contact us at kwhub@gray-wolf-350276.hostingersite.com
If you would like to refer someone into our sessions/services:
The partnership offers:
Crisis support from specialist professional services to support women leaving abuse
Individual support through peer mentoring and practical provision to enable healthy living, childcare and parenting support, onward signposting to additional services
Community support through women’s-only activities with a focus of empowering women, within the context of community, building self-esteem, confidence, new skills and hobbies
Preventative work through our schools project (working directly with boys in schools to understand harmful attitudes and behaviours that perpetuate abuse), and our outreach project to equip and train faith community leaders.
Survivors Forums; partnering with the council, the forums ensure the voices of survivors are heard loud and clear and are incorporated into system and culture change within the local authority partnership.
